Economic independence is the greatest predictor of a survivor escaping ongoing violence in a relationship.

SPARCC’s Economic Empowerment Program Has Two Phases:

  1. Assessment: Participants identify their current interests, strengths, skills, resources and commitment level.

Program Benefits:

  • Gain confidence, resilience and strength
  • Discover personal interests
  • Set goals
  • Establish boundaries
  • Become assertive
  • Develop problem-solving and coping skills
  • Cultivate workplace skills
  • Achieve financial independence and self-sufficiency
